St. Farnan's Annual Awards NightOur Awards Evening was held in the school on September 28th. In all over 160 awards were distributed for academic, sporting and cultural achievements to students from 2nd-6th Year and to students from the Leaving Cert. class of 2017.
David Connolly and Frank Gallagher jointly received awards for Outstanding Results in the Leaving Certificate Exam while Amy O'Rourke received the award for the highest academic achievement at Junior Certificate level.
Special awards for outstanding participation in the Skills@Work programme were presented to Cliodhna O'Dwyer and Andrew Butler by Victoria Carroll from SAP Ireland.
Aaron Percival was the recipient of the Colin Fox Award, which was presented to him by Mr. Joe Fox.
Among the award winners for their sporting endeavours were Eoin Bagnall, Emmet Donoghue, Kevin Campbell, Brion Kennedy and Colin McCormack while Killian Darling was this year's recipient of the Ray O'Malley Cup.
