Approval for new School Accommodation

The Chairperson of the St. Farnan's Board of Management, Councillor Brendan Weld has welcomed that the schedule of accommodation has been approved for St Farnan’s secondary school in Prosperous.

Commenting Cllr. Weld said: ‘I have received confirmation from the Minister for Education and Skills that the schedule of accommodation has been approved for St. Farnan's Post Primary in Prosperous. This is very welcome news not only for the school itself, but also for Prosperous and the surrounding areas’.

‘It is hoped that in the next 3 to 4 years we will have a new state of the art school in Prosperous and I will assist in any way that I can to ensure that this process is started as soon as feasibly possible’.
