End of Year Ceremony & Prize Giving 2023

Congratulations to all the fantastic students who turned up on the final day of school to enjoy the end of year ceremony and prize giving. There was a lovely atmosphere and we really commend the sense of pride and accomplishment that the students showed to each each other when the prize winners in the various categories were announced.

Thanks to Ms Mullen, Mr Little, Mr Furey and host for the presentations, Ms Reilly and all the other staff and caretaking team for organising such a great event. We even got a final goodbye and song from Mr Cormac McGovern before he transfers to his hometown KWETB school of Athy College. Our loss will be their huge gain.

Thanks also to all our staff who who have worked very hard throughout the year to care, support and teach all students in our school, especially those who won't be returning next year.

The annual academic awards evening will still be proceeding in September but Friday's ceremony awarded students for extra-curricular activities, tutor class and year group ambassador award nominees and overall student ambassador's for each year group. Leaving Certificate 6th year and Transition Year student have already been rewarded at their own graduations. Congratulations.
