EPAS Award for St. Farnan's
The Transition Year students were delighted to welcome Lauren from the European Parliament Ambassador Schools Programme (EPAS) to school on Wednesday, February 27th.
Lauren was here to evaluate our performance this year in this new initiative for the school, which the TYs have been working on as part of their European Studies module.
We made a presentation to Lauren which detailed all our work on the EPAS programme to date, as well as our plans for celebrating Europe Day in the school on May 9th.
We were delighted when Lauren told us she was "blown away" by our work and she had no hesitation in telling us that we will be receiving this prestigious award for St. Farnan's at a ceremony in April.
We will keep working on the EPAS in the coming months and are very much looking forward to the award ceremony in Cashel in April.
