The TY Class was delighted to welcome Martin Heydon, TD for Kildare and Chair of the Fine Gael party to the school on September 9th.
The students really enjoyed his wide-ranging talk which touched on topics as diverse as his farming background, his community involvement, his love of GAA, his career in politics and Brexit!
Well done to the students who had done their research and had some challenging questions for him!
We look forward to meeting Martin again in November when we visit Dáil Eireann for a guided tour.
