Modern Languages celebration in the Royal Irish Academy
12th Dec 2023
Ms Tanya Flanagan, our Transition Year Hear Head and Coordinator, is Chair of the One Voice for Languages committee, a voluntary group of language learning advocates from all sectors in the Irish education system.
As Chair of this organisation, she was invited by the Royal Irish Academy to assist in the organisation of a series of conferences to celebrate the fact that an Irish university, Trinity College, Dublin, has the oldest Chairs of Modern Languages in the anglophone world, celebrating 250 years of MFL teaching and learning in 2026.
Tanya is seen here at the launch event in the RIA with the Tánaiste, Micheál Martin, who gave the keynote address.
Congratulations Tanya.
