We had a very special event in school today when we celebrated not only the 2nd year students who completed the World of Work Programme, but also the 10th anniversary of our school’s partnership with SAP Ireland Ltd. and the Business in the Community organisation.
There were excellent speeches from Liam Ryan, Managing Director of SAP, Tosin Omiyale, Coordinator of the programme in SAP, Andrea Lazenby Simpson, Head of Education with BITC, as well as the Principal, Mr. Purcell.
Well done and thank you to all the students for their participation and enthusiasm and particular congratulations to all those who were part of the presentation today - the speakers, musicians, those who presented gifts, set up the room and who helped with the refreshments.
Everyone received a certificate in acknowledgment of their participation. Eve Browne presented Liam with a painting she did to celebrate the school’s 10 year journey with SAP and special certificates were also presented by BITC to the school and to SAP to acknowledge this milestone. Thanks also to Cllr Brendan Wyse who represented the school’s Board of Management at the event.
