On the 17th of October the Transition Years visited Castlecomer Discovery Park in Kilkenny, accompanied by Mr Delaney.
The students were split into three teams and had to work together to build a working catapult each by using different logs and ropes. The instructors taught and showed the students how to tie different knots to build the catapult. After the catapult was successfully built, the students then had to answer mathematical questions about the build.
It was a fun and enjoyable day.
