On January 15th, the TY students had their European Studies trip to Dublin.
They first visited the European Commission Headquarters on Lower Mount St. where they learned more about the European Union and took part in a fun quiz. This experience should prove particularly useful for them as they are also participating in the European Ambassador Schools Programme.
They then enjoyed a guided tour of the National Gallery of Ireland, the highlight of which was definitely seeing Caravaggio's masterpiece, The Taking of Christ, which they had studied as part of their Italian Art Module.
