Driving Skills Experience - Written by PJ Coates.
On Thursday, February 13th the TY class went driving with the Leinster Driving Campus in Maynooth for driving lessons. We learned how to start the car, how to change gears correctly using the clutch, and changing into higher gears. The best driver of the day, Darren Kenny, won a free driving lesson at the campus.
The class also took a mock theory test. We were split into groups of three. The prize for getting a perfect score on the test was vouchers for free driving lessons. Unfortunately no one got a perfect score. After the test, we put on beer goggles and had to walk over to the other side of the room and back!
Overall the TY class had a wonderful time and would love to go back again.
