On the 8th of January, the TY class had the amazing opportunity to go to and visit Microsoft HQ Ireland. The class got to take part in Microsoft’s Dreamspace program and also got a tour of Microsoft’s HQ in Ireland. Microsoft’s HQ in Ireland is Microsoft’s second largest building in the world. The interior design was amazing with digital LED displays and many plants.
The Dreamspace area was amazing with food prepared for the TY class. The Microsoft staff were very friendly to the TY class and kept us active while we were visiting. The staff got us to perform two tasks. The first task was to mess with basic programing. This part was relatively easy and we got a lot of assistance. The second task was to make a marble travel as far as we could without touching the marble and without the marble touching the ground. This task made us have to think outside the box in order to solve this problem.
Overall this trip was an amazing experience. The TY class is very thankful for having the opportunity to visit the Microsoft HQ.
