It is great to see the beginning of the ground works for our 4-unit additional accommodation classrooms that we will be receiving as soon as possible (hopefully completed before Easter 2024).
These extra classrooms including toilets and a large new fully kitted-out Home Economics kitchen are critically and urgently required for the huge and additional current 1st year numbers in school. St. Farnan's student population is growing rapidly and our new 1,000 pupil school can't come quickly enough. We thank the Buildings Team in KWETB and the Other Accommodation Unit in the Department of Education for providing these fantastic modular units until our new school is ready in 2027.
Thankfully, our soccer and Gaelic pitches will still be available until the new build commences.
